Kromann Reumert named Denmark's Law Firm of the Year 2011 by Who’s Who Legal

Callum Campbell, Editor in chief at Who’s Who Legal, said:

“This year marks Kromann Reumert’s seventh win of the law firm of the year award for Denmark. On 5 May 2011, Chambers Europe ranked Kromann Reumert the top law firm in Denmark, granting Kromann Reumert the Chambers Europe Award for Excellence 2011 Denmark.

Kromann Reumert has once again been top-rated in Banking and Finance, Mergers and Acquisitions, Restructuring and Insolvency by the International Financial Law Review (IFLR), a respected magazine that rates leading global law firms according to client recommendations and other industry feedback.

The recommendations quoted in IFLR 2011 include:

ILO Client Choice Award for Kromann Reumert

Kromann Reumert has been awarded the "ILO Client Choice Award" as "best law firm for client care" in Denmark.

ILO (International Law Office) identify those law firms that stand appart for the excellent client care they provide. The shortlist was generated from a survey of corporate counsel, which received more than 1.500 responses, as well as additional research and detailed interviews.

The IFLR1000 is the guide to the world's leading financial law firms in more than 100 jurisdictions.

Law firms cannot pay to be recommended as a leading firm in the IFLR1000. Recommendations are made on the basis of face-to-face and telephone interviews with leading private practice lawyers and in-house counsel from all of the world's business and financial centres.

The IFLR1000 is not a guide to every commercial practice worldwide. It lists only corporate and financial law firms at the top of their profession, and the individual lawyers with the best track records for advising in each practice area.

Kromann Reumert has received IFLRs price for Denmark Law Firm of the Year

IFLR's national law firm awards are given in 20 European jurisdictions. The awards recognize work that winning firms carried out under their home law last year across all IFLR's core practice areas. Peer and client recommendations are taken into account before the winners are decided. The winning firms were critical in providing outstanding local-law advice on some of the key cross-border deals of the year.

This is not a quantitative survey of transactions. IFLR's awards are an opportunity to reward innovation, quality and commitment to the development of legal services. Emphasis is placed on complexity and market impact, rather than size and media profile.
