EMPLOYMENT RIGHTS

Labour standards form a significant part of the Global Compact principles of social responsibility. Of course, Danish enterprises must always comply with legislation and rules stipulated in collective bargaining agreements.

However, as a part of corporate social responsibility it is becoming increasingly common that management also takes a proactive approach towards, and communicates its position on, important issues such as equal opportunity, workplace diversity and occupational health and safety. Typically, businesses use staff policies to record and signal their attitudes to these subjects.

Our assistance

Kromann Reumert can safeguard the interests of businesses and their international trading partners by ensuring that staff policies comply with the rules on freedom of association, discrimination, forced labour and child labour.

In the area of occupational health, we advise businesses on how to optimise workplace layout and design, as well as how to adapt the performance of tasks to accommodate employee health concerns or disabilities.
