Bankruptcy estates

Three of the Group's partners are permanent trustees in the Bankruptcy Division of the Maritime and Commercial Court in Copenhagen and in the Bankruptcy Court in Aarhus and often act as court-appointed trustees in both small and large bankruptcies.

This means that we have extensive experience in handling bankruptcy proceedings for large and small businesses and groups, as well as personal bankruptcies.

Representation of creditors

We have considerable experience in helping clients address businesses that are in the process of restructuring or bankruptcy proceedings. Our assistance includes filing proofs of claim and examination of claims, as well as advice for clients facing claims for avoidance or for damages.

Purchase of businesses from bankruptcy estates

Our Group is also highly experienced in assisting clients with purchasing businesses, in whole or in part, from bankruptcy estates. We assist in relation to pricing, transfers of relevant assets and information, and provide advice on the special issues involved in business transfers following bankruptcy.
