Liquidation
Liquidator appointed by the bankruptcy court
Our three lawyers that permanently assist the Bankruptcy Division of the Maritime and Commercial Court in Copenhagen and the Bankruptcy Court in Aarhus often act as court-appointed liquidators for businesses being dissolved at the request of the Danish Commerce and Companies Agency.
We therefore draw on extensive experience in (solvent) liquidation of businesses.
LIQUIDATOR ELECTED BY THE GENERAL MEETING - from resolution to deregistration of the business
We are often elected as a liquidator for businesses that have resolved to enter into liquidation.
We remain at the client's disposal throughout the process
- from the general meeting passing the resolution on liquidation
- registration of the liquidation with the Danish Commerce and Companies Agency
- assessment of the business' assets and liabilities, and any disputes
- correspondence with auditors on the preparation of financial statements and with the tax authorities on outstanding accounts with public authorities
- through to the closing general meeting, deregistration of the business and distribution to the owners.
